PRESENTAZIONE

Nel corso degli anni, per agevolare l'attività dello Studio, abbiamo realizzato una serie di software per la generazione dei modelli matematici delle imbarcazioni e delle navi e per i calcoli della loro stabilità e della loro robustezza longitudinale.

Da questa esperienza sono nati alcuni software di bordo. Il primo nato fu Stabilitas su piattaforme DOS, cui seguì Stabilitas Plus su piattaforme Windows (3.x, 95, 98, NT, 7, etc), commercializzati da IB Informatica (oggi IB Software and Consulting) con il nome Info Stabilitas. Nacque poi Stabilitas Minor su piattaforme Windows (95, 98, NT).

Attualmente produciamo le versioni su piattaforme Windows e Mac OSX di Stabilitas Plus e Minor.

Diverse applicazioni di Stabilitas Plus sono state inoltre personalizzate, anche come strumenti di progettazione oltre che come software di bordo, per mezzi particolari quali posatubi, piattaforme di perforazione autoelevantesi, etc.

Una personalizzazione particolare riguarda l'integrazione con il Sistema di Monitoraggio Strutturale in Continuo di Pegaso Systems, emessa con il nome di Pegasus Stabilitas Plus; tale integrazione permette di confrontare i valori teorici delle sollecitazioni strutturali con quelle rilevate al vero dal sistema di monitoraggio.

Infine, esiste una versione dedicata ai super yacht da diporto, privati e commerciali.

P.S. Le desinenze Plus e Minor, come pure il nome Stabilitas, sono parole latine, non inglesi.

PRESENTATION

During the years, to facilitate the activities of the Studio, we realized some software for the creation of mathematical models of the boats and the ship and for the calculi of their stability and longitudinal strength.

From this experience were born some on board softwares. The first was Stabilitas for DOS systems, then came Stabilitas Plus for Windows systems (3.x, 95, 98, NT, 7, etc), marketed by IB Informatica (today IB Software and Consulting) with the name Info Stabilitas. The last born is Stabilitas Minor for Windows systems (95, 98, NT).

At present we produce the releases for Windows and Mac OSX systems of Stabilitas Plus and Minor.

Some applications of Stabilitas Plus have been customised, also as designing instrument beyond on board software, for special units such as pipe laying, jack up, etc.

A particular customisation deals with the integration with the Continuous Hull Stress Monitoring System by Pegaso Systems, released with the name Pegasus Stabilitas Plus; such integration allows to compare the theoretical values of the structural stresses with those measured by the monitoring system.

Finally, a version of Stabilitas Plus is addressed to private and commercial super yachts.

P.S. The desinences Plus and Minor, such as the name Stabilitas, are Latin, not English, words.
