Sono state eseguite verifiche di stabilità (MCA LY3) su questa nave di cui non erano disponibili disegni.

Lo scafo era stato allungato con l’inserimento di un troncone centrale di circa 11 m.

È stata dapprima eseguita una prova di stabilità classica; la nave è stata poi alata e lo scafo è stato rilevato con scanner tridimensionali.

Dal rilievo sono state ottenute le superfici dello scafo ed  è stato ricostruito il modello tridimensionale di scafo e casse. Con questo sono stati effettuati tutti i necessari calcoli di stabilità a nave integra e in falla.

Stability tests (MCA LY3) were performed on this vessel, for which no drawings were available.

The hull had been lengthened with the insertion of a central section of approximately 11 m.

A classic stability test was first performed; the vessel was then raised and the hull was scanned with 3D scanners.

From the survey, the hull surfaces were obtained and a 3D model of the hull and tanks was reconstructed. This was used to perform all the necessary stability calculations for both the intact and damaged vessel.
