LINEE GUIDA

Come qualunque attività lavorativa o imprenditoriale, il primo scopo è il nostro "sostentamento"; vogliamo però ottenerlo attraverso la soddisfazione del Cliente, nella massima trasparenza e correttezza.

Abbiamo la fortuna di poter svolgere un mestiere che ci piace incredibilmente, di poterci recare al lavoro ogni mattina contenti di quello che ci aspetta e di faticare spesso la sera ad andarcene se prima non abbiamo completato ciò che ci eravamo prefissi: in altre parole siamo fra i privilegiati che hanno potuto fare delle loro passioni la propria professione. Naturalmente non si è trattato solo di fortuna: abbiamo investito in anni di studio e di gavetta.

Oggi la passione che ci ha sempre animato, unita alle competenze acquisite, ci consente di affrontare le richieste dei Clienti in maniera professionale e costruttiva, sempre alla ricerca del miglior risultato.

Cerchiamo allora di spiegare cosa intendiamo per "miglior risultato". Non pensiamo che ne esista uno in assoluto: esso dipende sempre dal Cliente che si ha di fronte, dalle sue aspettative e dal suo scopo. Vogliamo quindi sempre cercare di capire innanzitutto questi aspetti, confrontandoci il più possibile con lui, singola persona o cantiere che sia. Abbiamo anche imparato che non è detto che ciò che a noi può sembrare la soluzione migliore lo sia anche per il Cliente: sappiamo quasi sempre quale sia tecnicamente la via giusta, ma non è detto che lo sia globalmente. Talvolta devono essere tenuti da conto anche aspetti "psicologici": metteremo sempre la prua avanti e la poppa addietro, ma se al Cliente piace una prua un po' particolare, dopo avergli chiaramente spiegato perché ne preferiremmo un'altra ed aver appurato che, comunque, la soluzione richiesta non inficia la sicurezza, perché non accontentarlo?

Naturalmente non siamo mai disposti a concedere nulla, dal punto di vista tecnico o commerciale, che possa ridurre a livelli per noi inaccettabili la sicurezza di ciò che progettiamo, ma prima studiamo a fondo i problemi per cercare di coniugare le richieste ricevute e la sicurezza necessaria. La nostra migliore soddisfazione è riuscire in questa sfida, anche se il risultato non è quello che vorremmo per noi stessi.

Da marinai quali siamo ci piacerebbe sempre progettare imbarcazioni che privilegino la marinità, anche a scapito della comodità e dell'estetica, ma raramente ciò è possibile; ed è giusto così. Chi si rivolge a noi non sempre è un marinaio, o comunque non è detto che il nostro andar per mare sia l'unico modo di farlo. Spesso, particolarmente sui super yacht, le richieste principali riguardano l'estetica e la comodità: se saremo bravi riusciremo ad ottenerle senza sacrificare la sicurezza e la marinità delle nostre creazioni.

Venendo ad aspetti più pratici, teniamo a sottolineare la nostra attenzione alla qualità, alla correttezza ed alla trasparenza del nostro lavoro. Questi aspetti per noi non si limitano all'ambito tecnico, ma sono sempre estesi a tutto il nostro rapporto con il Cliente: definizione precisa dell'incarico, presentazione ed accettazione dei preventivi, definizione e rispetto delle scadenze, qualità grafica e chiarezza degli elaborati, disponibilità, tempestività e chiarezza nelle risposte alle domande del Cliente, sincera e tempestiva ammissione di eventuali (per fortuna rari!) errori ed immediata attivazione per la risoluzione, sincera ammissione di incompetenza laddove vi siano richieste che non rientrano nelle nostre conoscenze.

Questo è ciò che offriamo ai nostri Clienti e, per quanto riguarda correttezza e trasparenza, pretendiamo altrettanto.

Non ultima è la nostra attenzione all'ambiente: per quanto in nostro potere cerchiamo sempre di proporre soluzioni a minor impatto ambientale possibile e nella conduzione quotidiana dello Studio adottiamo i comportamenti più "verdi" possibili.

GUIDELINES

As any work or entrepreneurial activity, the first aim is our "sustenance"; but we want to obtain it through the Client's satisfaction, with the greatest transparence and honesty.

We have the fortune to do a job that we incredibly like, to go every morning at work happy for what is awaiting us and to be often hardly able in the evening to go home if we have not finished what we set: in other words we are among the privileged which have been able to transform their passions in their profession. Of course it's not only a question of fortune: we invested in years of study and we worked our way up.

Today the passion always enlived us, joint to the acquired competence, allow us to face the Client's requests in a professional and constructive way, always searching the best result.

So, try to explain what we mean with "best result". We do not think only one result is the very best: it always depends on the Client we have in front, on his expectations and on his aim. So we always want to understand such aspects, having a confrontation with him, single person or shipyard. We also learned it is not sure what we consider the best solution is the best also for the Client; we nearly always know the right technical way, but it is not necessarily the best overall. Some times also "psychological" aspects must be considered: we will always put the bow fore-ward and the stem aft-ward, but if the Client likes a bow a bit strange, after having clearly explained him we would prefer an other bow and having verified that, however, the requested solution doesn't invalidate safety, why don't please him?

Naturally we are not available to allow anything, from the technical or commercial point of view, able to reduce safety of our plans to levels we do not accept, but first we study the problems in depth in order to try to unite the Client's requests and the necessary safety. Our best satisfaction is to win such challenge, also if the result is not that we would like for us.

We are seamen, so we always would like to plan boats favouring seafaring, in case to the detriment of comfort and aesthetics, but rarely it is possible; and it is right like this. Who goes and sees us is not always a seamen, or however our way of sailing is not necessarily the only way to sail. Often, particularly on super yachts, the main requests deal with aesthetics and comfort: if we will be clever we'll obtain it without detriments in safety and seafaring of our creations.

Coming to more practical aspects, we care to underline our attention to quality, honesty and transparency of our work. Such aspects are not limited to the technical sphere, but are always extended to all our relationship with the Client: exact definition of the task, presentation and acceptance of the estimates, definition and respect of deadlines, graphic quality and clearness of the printouts, helpfulness, timeliness and clearness in the answers to Client's questions, sincere and timely admission of possible (fortunately exceptional!) mistakes and immediate activation to find the remedy, sincere admission of incompetence in case of requests that are not part of our knowledge.

This is what we offer to our Clients and, regarding honesty and transparency, what we expect they return us.

Not last is our care for the environment: as far as we are concerned we try always to propose the solutions with the smaller environmental impact and in the daily management of the Studio we adopt the most "green" behaviour is possible.
